Bhimtal Lake
The largest lake in the Kumaon region, Bhimtal Lake is one of the prime places to visit in Bhimtal due to a brilliant display of foliage. This particular lake provides drinking water to all the nearby region of Kumaon. The island neatly placed at the centre of the lake gains attention due to the strategic position, this has been converted to a place of tourist interest.
Sattal Lake
Sattal situated at the lower Himalayan range near Bhimtal and is an accumulation of seven freshwater lakes. The reason why Sattal is one of the highly recommended places to visit in Bhimtal is because of its rich biome, dense oak and pine forests and alluring untouched beauty. This pristine lake is neatly seated below the fragrant Orchards, which further beautifies the Mehragaon valley.
Hanuman Mandir
This temple is a fascinating place for Lord Hanuman devotees where on the entrance the visitors will be enthralled with the 52 ft high statue of the God. The splendid backdrop of mountains and valley adds charm to the already enthralling environment.
Stargate Observatory
Stargate Bhimtal is the second public observatory from Stargate. Located next to the Hanuman Mandir on the Bhimtal – Naukuchiatal Road, the location is just 3km from the Bhimtal lake. The place is famous for adventure sports. Visit here for Planet watch, Moon watch, Galaxy watch, Nebula watch, and solar observation.
Jungliagaon
Jungliagaon mesmerizes you with its rich varieties of wild flowers and fruit orchids which are not available in any other region of the Kumaon Valley. Manually carved gardens and forest walks through rich flora and fauna are other features of this place that leave you fascinated. A significant number of tourists also visit Junglia Gaon for wildlife photography and bird viewing.
Dorothy 's Seat
A romantic Gem in the crown on Nainital city is the Tiffin Top, also known as Dorothy's Seat. This famous attraction is a hilltop which offers the most splendid 360-degree view of Nainital city and surrounding Kumaon mountains.
Mukhteshwar
Mukteshwar, this little hilly town of Nainital is one of the popular tourist places in Bhimtal and has a lot of history entwined along its existence. The 350-year- old Shiva temple, Mukteshwar Dham adorns the tip of the highest point in town. Historical evidence claims that the temple has been built by Tamil Pandya king.

An activity one must indulge in while visiting Naukuchiatal and Bhimtal Lake is boating. Apart from its beautiful background, the best part is its peaceful surrounding where one can even enjoy the birds chirping. The activity is charged and comes under the local union.

Fishing in the peaceful surrounding and lazing around with hurry can make your day. For trying your hand on fishing, the fishing rods are available from Bhimtal at Rs 50/- per rod. You might not be able to catch a fish but the experience is wonderful. Also make sure you travel during the months of May and June while avoid winters for this activity.
Mountain Biking
There is lot of scope for exploring the beautiful region surrounding Bhimtal either by cycling or with the help of a Bike. Cycles and Bikes of good quality can be hired at Bhimtal, for going on a ride of the nearby area. It offers you total freedom to move around as per your wish.
Sojourn with Nyoli is a 1.5 hour drive away from the Pantnagar Airport and a 45 minute drive from the Kathgodam railway station. Nestled in a small village called Sangurigaon, it's about 5-10 minutes uphill by road from Bhimtal. Taxis are easily available for this location. We will be able to help you with more information on the location and how to get there once you have booked.

Designed across two floors, Sojourn with Nyoli is still accessible for everyone due to a lift chair installed on the staircase. There are no steep steps or undulations, however there might be some uneven patches around the house, by virtue of it being surrounded by nature.

Yes, absolutely. Please keep them supervised at all times to ensure there are no damages caused, and most importantly for their own safety in an unfamiliar place.
When you arrive, you will find a set of fresh linen laid out for you. Linen is changed upon request to avoid wastage of water caused by unnecessary laundry. Please do let the staff know whenever you wish to have your bed sheets or towels changed! While we do ensure the space is clean and comfortable for you, being a home, it may not mimic the feel of a hotel. However, if there is any lapse in terms of cleanliness, please inform the team and it will be taken care of on priority. We take your feedback very seriously, and take immediate actions to resolve your concerns.
